Eden Hazard and brother Thorgan withdrawn from Euro 2020 qualifiers due to injury.

Eden Hazard for Belgium

Hazard brothers Eden and Thorgan will not feature for their country Belgium because of the injuries they both had while playing for their respective clubs.

Both brothers recently signed for new clubs. The elder brother Eden signed for Spanish club Real Madrid, while the younger brother Thorgan signed for German club Borussia Dortmund during the summer window respectively.

Eden Hazard is yet to feature for his club Real Madrid in any official match after sustaining an injury in his thigh while training ahead of the la liga opening match against Celta Vigo.

His boss Zinedine Zidane has insisted that the forward would not be allowed to play for his national team as he is avoiding any case that might worsen the injury of the player. He made it clear that the player can visit the national team doctors for proper analysing but will not feature in the upcoming qualifiers.

Thorgan on the other hand waa substituted late in his club’s second bundeliga match against Koln. The former Borussia Monchenglabach player was diagnosed with a rib injury and was set to be out for “several weeks” just days before he was called up by Martinez.

Belgium are currently top of their Euro 2020 qualifying group with four wins from four, they visit minnows San Marino on Friday and then go to Hampden Park to play Scotland next Monday.
