Arsenal's Lacazette

Today’s North London derby ends in a draw between Arsenal and Tottenham. Arsenal overcame the early pressure from their local rivals Tottenham, which resulted in an early goal from Christian Eriksen to earn a point from the match.

Arsenal fought back from two goals from tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Harry kane in the first half to get a point from a fixture.

Unai Emery started both Aubameyang and Lacazette with new signing pepe for the first time since this season. Ceballos was dropped to the bench following last week’s nightmare he had against Liverpool.

Cristian Eriksen started for the visitors after starting from the bench in previous matches this season since the transfer saga he had with the club during the transfer window. He really showed quality as it took him just ten (10) minutes to get his name into the score sheet after getting to the rebound first from Lamela’s shot which leno fumbled into the way of Erikson.

Arsenal started the first half in a very bad shape and it took Tottenham only ten (10) minutes to score against a less composed Arsenal.

As if that was not enough, spurs scored their second goal of the match after series of pressure which led to a penalty after Xhaka fouled Son in his own penalty box. Tottenham striker Harry Kane made no mistake in slotting the ball into the back of the net from the spot to take the score to two (2) and Arsenal zero (0).

But Arsenal’s striker lacazette scored a goal in the first half stoppage time to restore calmness and hope to the home side.

Eighteen (18) minutes into the second half, Ceballos was introduced by Emery and that moved changed the tempo of the game. Ceballos showed why players are not to be judged after a bad match in which he/she didn’t perform well. He brought more composure to the home team and Tottenham really struggled after his introduction.

Arsenal kept on putting pressure on Tottenham with Matteo Guendouzi and Sead Kolasinac both coming close to scoring the equalizer. Ceballos himself came close but was denied by Hugo Lloris.

The pressure finally paid off as Aubameyang scored with fifteen minutes left after meeting with Guendouzi’s perfect cross to earn a point for arsenal.
